DESCRIPTION:GIRLS ON THE GO | APRIL 26 @ 1:30PM \nChinese Cooking Demonstration downstairs in the Activity Center at New Hope Church on Saturday\, April 26\, 2025 at 1:30 pm. \nYou are invited to a special two-hour culinary treat. We are thrilled to welcome Kayou Li\, a native of China\, to do a demonstration of simple Chinese cooking. Kayou (pronounced Kai Oh) hopes through her cooking class you will learn a little bit about her and China. \nYou don’t need a wok or fancy cookware to cook delicious Chinese meals. The cooking demonstration includes tastings of the following: \n1). You will be making (hands on) dumplings and learn how to cook them. \n2). Kayou will teach you the secret “velveting” technique used to tenderize meat like restaurants do. \n3). How to make stir-fried rice with sliced pork and veggies. \n4). How to make egg drop soup. \nWe must have at least 15 sign up and the cost is $10.00.
