Blood Drive

BLOOD DRIVE | JULY 17, 5:15-8:30PM
Help save someone’s live by donating blood. Versiti Blood Center will be here at New Hope on Wednesday, July 17, from 5:15-8:30pm in the Activity Center to take your donation. Please be sure to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before your arrival. Sign up by clicking here. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. There is room for 25 donors. The first 15 donors get a free ticket to the Indiana State Fair.

Interesting facts: 

  • One unit of blood can be separated into several components: red blood cells, plasma and platelets.
  • Blood makes up about 7% of your body’s weight.
  • Every time you donate blood, you receive a mini physical for free.
