GIRLS ON THE GO | BROWN COUNTY ON TUES, SEPT 27
Our church buses will no longer be available. Our church is going to be selling them. They are not used enough to offset the cost of insurance, gas, mechanical issues etc. But, we will be fine and still have fun carpooling. We will just need people to volunteer to help drive at each of our outings.
Our next outing will be Tuesday, September 27, to Brown County. We will leave the church at 8:30am.
We will be touring Cox Creek Mill and Iron Works located along beautiful Salt Creek in Brown County on 18 rolling acres. This is a two story working mill and art studio of items made from metal by owner Brad Cox.
Lunch will be at the Hobnob restaurant (11:00). Free time after lunch to shop. A Nashville train tour is available if you choose. The cost is $7.00 and it is a city tour that lasts 22 minutes. It only goes two blocks east and west of the main street. You can catch the train at different stops in Nashville.
We will meet back at our cars at 2 o’clock and be home around 3. We will have sign ups the Sunday before, September 25.
