League of Ordinary Gentlemen

Over the last few months, you may have noticed announcements for the League of Ordinary Gentlemen. This is a new men’s group we’re starting at New Hope. Our basic goal is to give guys an opportunity to get together at least once a month. So far we’ve golfed at Back Nine, watched March Madness, went duckpin bowling, and took in a baseball game at Victory Field.

Any events we advertise are open to all guys. Two of us, Eric Staley and Jason Adler, have taken turns organizing the first few events. But we don’t want it to be “our” group. If you have an idea, definitely send it our way. Or if you’re willing to organize it yourself, we can help get the word out once you have the details ironed out. If you know of a task that could use a group of guys, we could try to coordinate some helpers. Just keep in mind that they might not necessarily be “skilled” laborers.
