What to Expect
We understand that attending a church for the first time can feel a little daunting. That’s why we want to paint a picture of what your visit will look like from the moment you arrive!
Arrive 15 minutes early
The last thing we want is for you to feel like you’re scrambling. By arriving a little early, you’ll have the time you need to get settled or ask the greeters at the door any questions prior to the service starting.
Grab a drink at the hospitality center
We have complimentary coffee and tea available before service. Other items such as pastries or specialty drinks are also available for purchase.
Check in your kids (if you have them)
In the center of the foyer you can check in your kids 5th grade and under. If you want, one of our staff will show you the rooms they will be in.
Engage in the service
Our services typically last around an hour or so and include modern worship songs followed by accessible teaching on walking with Jesus in everyday life.
Want to dive deeper?
Our Connections class meets at 11:10 AM in Room C28 to discuss the sermon after the 10:00 service.
Our Growing in Faith Together (GIFT) class meets at 8:30 AM in Room C23 prior to the regular service at 10AM. We routinely cover challenging and thought-provoking topics that are relevant to our everyday lives. We study biblically-based solutions and guidance that just makes sense.
FAQ
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel most comfortable in! You’ll find others dressed in shorts, t-shirts, jeans, or at most business casual.
Is everything accessible for wheelchairs?
Yes! We also have spots available for wheelchair users to sit as part of a five or six-member pod with their families.
Are kids and teenagers part of the service?
Kids in fourth grade and below will have their own service. Fifth grade and above are invited to join us in the main sanctuary. Occasionally, we invite kids to join us for family worship throughout the year.
Do you have interpreters?
- We provide ASL translation in the 10:00 service. Sit near the front on the left-hand side of the stage.
- We provide Swahili translation in the 10:00 service. Just pick up an earbud and receiver at the back near the sound booth.
